Memorable Moments: When Harry Kalas announced his 500th career home run, he announced him as "Michael Jack Schmidt," a phrase all fans impersonate to this day.

My favorite memory of Schmitty was when I saw him at his last game. A bunch of other kids and I watched him warm up and he looked up at us, smiled, and waved. Warms my heart.
